It’s early spring in Positano

Hello – we are new!!! We start with taking you on a trip on the road, from Sorrento to Positano …

In our minds (!), spring starts on the First Day of Lent, which means La Quaresima. That’s an important time here on the Amalfi Coast.

It’s silent for now, the Amalfi Coast shall not “wake up” until the Easter Week. Take a look at the first pictures I’m posting – pre-spring impressions in Positano. Don’t be deceived, it may look cold, the colors still shows us it’s winter, but spring is palpably round the corner…

A good time for our first post – telling you a little about our new website Costiera Lookbook. My blog will cover a nic(h)e topic: Beauty and fashion style on the Amalfi Coast – Positano, Amalfi, Praiano … and in Sorrento and Capri. Understand the unique colors of clothing, and the beauty products – perfumes and cosmetics – that derive from a long history – so much to tell behind the scenes!!

How does fashion and beauty style differ from the much better known in Northern Italy – Milano, and from those in Rome? Here we are, in the Deep South of Italy – with its very special historic bonds to the Eastern and Southern Mediterranean.
